It's weekend. Finally. My diamond for today will have to be the fact that it is weekend. It gives us time to reflect on everything that happened during the week and it also gives us time to plan the coming week.

For most of us - planning makes us feel safe. It makes us feel as if we are in control.

I'm just smiling. Are we in control ?? Does all the planning we do really help ?? I'm not saying don't plan anything but ..... Are the plans you have for  your life the same plans that God has for you ??

When you are planning the next week's schedule are you also planning for time to spend with God. Is God part of your busy schedule ?? Is God part of  your weekend ??

Where does He fit in ??

You know what ?? You don't need to have a time or a place to be with God. God must be part of every day, every second, every weekend, He needs to be in every decision you make.He needs to be with you, in you, part of your life - always.

You have to include God in everything you do !!

I'm not having a party this weekend and I don't have any plans to do anything, but whatever I'm doing, God will be with me. He is always on my mind. I'm positive that He will guide me. He will protect me.

I really hope that you can see the diamond I am seeing today. I really hope that you have an awesome weekend. Have fun, rest, go swimming, go surfing, go to a museum, go shopping, spoil someone special, visit a friend or just stay at home, but please where ever you are going make God part of it.

 Enjoy your diamond - because every diamond is a gift from God. A Gift from God to be sherished and polished and enjoyed as we are spending time with our Father. The One who loves us now and forever.
